Ken Knowlton is an artist who produces extremely high quality computer-assisted portrait art. Knowlton's name is known to anyone who has a serious interest in computer graphics; he is one of the pioneers of the field. He has constructed gorgeous mosaic portraits out of seashells, dice, and many other objects, including dominoes! In fact, Knowlton was the first person to create portraits out of complete sets of dominoes. (Note: Knowlton and I use different techniques to construct our domino portraits.)

Eric Harshbarger specializes in building mosaics and sculpture out of LEGO pieces. Like Knowlton, he uses a computer to help him create his designs, and he does beautiful work.
